Dr Philip Earnshaw
- Trained at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, London and registered in 1985
In Practice, Dr Earnshaw oversees the dispensing and the business side of the Practice. He is Chairman of the CCG. In 1996 he set up the local GP Co-operative and is Chairman of this organisation. He is married and has three children. He plays tennis regularly and golf when he can and likes good food. He is interested in sport of all types but particularly likes Rugby Union. He is also a lay leader at a local church
Dr Carole Pinder
- Trained at Leeds University and Registered in 1976.
- Special interest in Occupational Medicine
Medical interests include Women’s Health, Asthma and work related problems. Carole has a Diploma in Occupational Medicine. She is Medical Adviser to a number of companies. She is GP representative of the Yorkshire Group Committee of Occupational Medicine. Her outside interests, when she has the time, include her husband, motor boating off the south coast, fast cars, good food and her two cats.
Dr Patrick Wynn
- Trained at the University of Manchester and qualified in 1992
Dr Wynn trained at Manchester University and registered in 1992. He has special interests are gynaecology, out patient hysteroscopy and care of the elderly. He spends one day per week at St James’s, Leeds doing hospital based gynaecology. Dr Wynn is the clinical lead for Planned Care at the CCG.
Dr Claire Phipps-Jones
- Trained at the University of Leeds and qualified in 2002
Claire graduated from Leeds Medical School in 2002 and completed GP training in the Wakefield/Pontefract area and joined the practice in August 2006.
Claire is also involved in teaching Leeds medical students on their attachments at the practice and is aGP trainer.

Dr Colin Speers
- Trained at the University of Leeds and qualified in 2001
- Attained his MRCGP in 2009
Colin moved to West Yorkshire from Liverpool in 1996 and has not left the area since then. Dr Speers is a qualified GP Trainer. He is happily married and has a keen interest in hiking, travel, food and science fiction.

Dr Chris Barraclough
Salaried General Practitioner
Dr Barraclough graduated from Sheffield University Medical School in 2003 and completed his GPtraining in the Pontefract area in 2008. His training included spending a year at Ferrybridge Medical Centre as a GP Registrar and he returned to join the surgery as a salaried GP in 2011. Dr Barraclough specialises in dermatology (skin disease). As well as seeing patients with skin problems in the surgery he practices in skin clinics both in the community and at Pontefract hospital. He is also the practice trainer for Foundation Year 2 doctors.
Dr Rebecca Farrelly
Dr Farrelly graduated from the University of Leeds in 2009, and completed her GP training in Wakefield and Pontefract. She joined the practice as a salaried GP in 2014
