Nursing Team

The core nursing team, comprising practice nurses, district nurses and health visitors is based at the practice and offers an integraterd approach to delivering a high quality servuice to patients / clients both at surgery and at home.

In addition to general nursing duties, nurses have specialist areas including chronic disease management, health promotion, smoking cessation and cardiac rehabilitation.

District Nurses specialise in wound care and visit patients at home.

Health Visitors specialise in home visiting to families with young children.

The integrated nursing team is supported by midwives and CPNs who provide clinics within the surgery. Access to the nursing team is via the receptionists.
